The aim of our cricket programmes is through sport, to educate players to appreciate the values of honesty, courtesy, consideration for others and self discipline. These values are to supplement the qualities developed by the dedication required to succeed in a competitive environment in which practise, perseverance and concentration are paramount.
To build a strong competitive and united junior club cricket structure, developing cricket players and administrators from all sectors of our community.

To conduct our cricketing affairs in a professional and organized manner for mutual benefit of its clubs, players, administrators and corporate sponsors.

To actively grow and market our junior club summer and winter cricket programmes, supporting school and club structures throughout the province for mutual benefit of cricket development within our union.

To build a strong competitive provincial structure capable of holding its own against any other cricket union.

To create a positive perception of all EJCCA activities.

To achieve financial viability via affiliates, Eastern Cricket Union and corporate sponsorship.

To co-operate with whoever has the interest towards up-liftment of EJCCA on a non-profit basis.

To play the game in the way it was originally intended, “in good spirit.”

To treat cricket players from every sector of our community with human dignity, enhancing social integration, cultural understanding and tolerance.

To encouraging those in a more fortunate disposition to assist those who are less fortunate, thus making a positive and significant difference in our diverse community.
